News archive - [Call for papers] 3rd European Energy Conference (E2C 2013)

The aim of the conference is to lead to effective and fruitful communication between the research, government and industrial communities for a more sustainable and efficient European energy policy. A call for abstracts is open until July 15th.

The topics of the 3rd European Energy Conference (E2C 2013) will cover chemistry, physics and material sciences related to energy technologies. To harness safely and efficiently the energy of the Sun both directly and indirectly, as well as the nuclear and thermonuclear power generation are in the centre of the conference programme. Energy storage in chemical and other forms, hydrogen infrastructure and energy transfer by photosynthesis will also be discussed. 

The conference will be attendend also by Robert-Jan Smits, European Commission, DG Research and Innovation, Romana Jordan, MEP and Pál Kovacs, Hungarian State Secretary.


Call for abstracts

Oral and poster contributions are both welcome on subjects within the scope of the conference. Each presenting author is entitled to submit only one abstract for oral presentation and one abstract for poster, but may also be co-author of Abstracts submitted by other presenting authors.

One-page abstracts, prepared according to the instructions given below, should be submitted in MSWord .doc or .rtf file through the secure online registration system. The file size may not exceed 2 MB.

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee. It will also be the Committee who makes the final decision about the form of presentation.

Poster session: 
Posters will be on display during the entire conference. The poster display area is 1.20 m high and 0.90 m wide.
