News archive - WBIF is evaluating 21 applications after its 9th call for proposals

The Western Balkans Investment Framework, following its 9th call for proposals, received a total of 21 applications.

The breakdown by beneficiary and sector is summarised in the table below. Click on the table to enlarge it.

Several applications are seeking further WBIF support to advance projects that have already benefited from WBIF grants and two of the applications are for studies – one in the energy sector and one in the environment sector. The WBIF Secretariat will now launch the screening process in line with the standard WBIF procedures.

Western Balkans Info Hub - powered by "Policy Answers" - is funded by the European Commission through the Horizon Europe project "R&I policy making, implementation and support in the Western Balkans", grant agreement: 10105887. The portal builds upon previous initiatives, such as for instance WBC-RTI.INFO and WBC-INCO.NET, which were funded under different Framework Programmes (FP) for Research and Technological Development (RTD) of the European Commission and other contracts.
