News archive - [Event Announcement] EU Science Global Challenges & Global Collaboration conference

The European Parliament will host a five-day conference on “EU Science: Global Challenges, Global Collaboration” (ES:GC2), in Brussels.

The conference will bring together science policymakers, scientists and industry representatives from 100 different countries and will place EU research at the centre of the international response to global challenges.

Within this framework, the European Patent Office (EPO) will be hosting a series of debates on patents, research and innovation. In the context of on-going debates on Horizon 2020 and the future Unitary patent scheme, an informative series of political and technical discussions on IP and innovation will take place on Wednesday 6th of March 2013.
