News archive - [Call for applicants] NanoFar: European Erasmus Mundus Doctorate in Nanomedicine and Pharmaceutical innovation
NanoFar is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Doctorate programme selected in 2011 by EACEA.This European programme is coordinated by the University of Angers (France), and involves the Universities of Nantes (France), Liège and Louvain (Belgium), Nottingham (United Kingdom) and Santiago de Compostela (Spain).
NanoFar is a three-year PhD thesis, co-supervised by partners in two different countries and including a one-year mobility period in a partner country. It aims to train the best students in the field of Nanomedicine at the doctoral level.
The Doctorate course has 120 ECTS credits dedicated to laboratory based research, and 60 ECTS credits for training activities, including 3 mandatory summer schools.
9 Erasmus Mundus Doctorate fellowships (covering tuition fees, participation costs, travel expenses, some household expenses contribution and a monthly allowance) will be offered in 2013 by the EMJD NanoFar consortium to students from all over the world.
Additionally, PhD fellowships locally funded will be available.
Selection process is open until January 31th 2013.
