News archive - [Call for papers] The second issues of the journal Njohja, papers on the theme of Human and Social Transformation
The Institute for Social Studies and the Humanities (ISSH) invites submissions for the second issues of its journal Njohja, on the theme of Human and Social Transformation. The theme seeks to interogate varying academic and social articulations of social change in the region and further. The journal will continue its current format, which includes three sections, but this time with all articles translated in both Albanian and English language: 1. The first section will focus on social transformations in Kosovo* during the 1990s (post-socialism, national ideology, property, conflict, transitions, etc.); 2. The second section will treat social transformations in a comparative perspective, including global social and political movements, and transformations of cultural articulatio ns (e.g. in media, gender, etc.); 3. The third section "Architexture" is a standing section of the journal which treats the issues' thematic focus through notions of space and place, aesthetics, art, and architecture; 4. The fourth section contains book reviews.
The deadline for submissions is January 15, 2013.
Guidelines:
- The length of an article should be between 6,000 and 7,000 words.
- The author's name should not be disclosed in the manuscript in any way.
- The manuscript should be delivered as a Word document.
- The author must use Chicago Style.
