Our country has 46 scientific institutions, 3 universities and around 1100 registered researchers. It is not a large number and, therefore, we need to create a cooperative and creative atmosphere in the scientific community to create synergies among them. In order to do so, the Ministry of Science has set a list of priorities in research for the next 5 years and these priorities are: energy, identity, ICT, and the competitiveness of the national economy, science and education, medicine and health, sustainable development and tourism, agriculture and food production, new materials, products and services, and trade."
