News archive - Food scientists can receive media trainings through the MAITRE project

The Media Actions for the International Training of Researchers (MAITRE) project offers the opportunity to HOST A PROFESSIONAL MEDIA TRAINING for its researchers completely free of charge.

The MAITRE media trainings:
- Are given by senior science journalists
- Take place over 2 full days
- Are organised at the premises of the research organisation 
- Are open to a maximum number of 16 researchers and press officers
- Are focused on practical aspects and give participants concrete tools 

Research centres and Universities interested in this opportunity are welcome to contact MAITRE team for more information; there is still opportunity to host a MAITRE's seminar in 2013/2014.

MAITRE gives research centers and universities located in Europe and Associated countries (including Western Balkan Countries) the opportunity to host a professional media training for its researchers completely free of charge.

MAITRE - Media Actions for the International Training of Researchers is a EU-funded project by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme. It aims at giving to food and nutrition research a higher profile in Europe, by providing professional media trainings to researchers and PhD students.
