News archive - 2nd EASN Association Workshop on Flight Physics and Propulsion and the General Assembly of the EASN Association in Prague

The EASN workshop on Flight Physics and Propulsion in Prague, Czech Republic, on October 31 - November 2, 2012 aims at presenting fundamental research results from the academic world as well as the recent advancements of ongoing re-search projects. In addition, the workshop aims to act as a forum for discussion which will possibly identify the next steps towards the implementation of these technologies and the preparation of new Academia driven proposals.

Following the successful recipe of the first EASN workshop, where a large number of specialists from the industry, Research establishments and the Academia attended and presented the latest achievements in the area, EASN is organising the second of a series of specialised workshops, this time in the fields of Flight Physics and propulsion.

For materialising this workshop, EASN will coordinate its efforts with the VZLU aerospace research and test establishment in Prague. It is worth noting that during the previous EASN workshop, presentations from 13 out of 14 of the EC funded projects in the area running at that time were made. The positive vibes and encouraging comments received by the participants allow us to look forward to a series of dedicated workshops aiming at providing specialised knowledge.

The intention is not to organise a large conference with vast participation, thus a limit on the number of participants will apply.

During this 3-day event, the General Assembly meeting of the EASN Association will also take place. The General Assembly will discuss the achievements of the BoD, set the frame and provide guidelines for the future of the Association. All EASN members are invited to join the General Assembly. Non-EASN members are also welcome to participate and express their opinions but have no voting rights.

The registration form as well as useful information about the workshop is available in the attachment.
