News archive - [Event Announcement] The EU Strategy for the Danube Region: Focussing on Human Needs

The Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe In cooperation with the Donau Universität Krems and under the patronage of ARGE Donauländer, this international conference will take place in Krems, Austria on October 5, 2012.
The conference will showcase examples of success, practical approaches and conclusions of partners from different countries of the Danube region after a year of EUSDR. The focus of the conference is on the areas of "regional cooperation" and "Science, Education and Culture" as well as networking opportunities with organizations, institutions and agencies related to the Danube region.

Speakers: Bozidar Djelic (former Serbian Deputy Prime Minister), Molterer (EIB Vice-President), Heinz Fassmann (Vice Rector of the University of Vienna, Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of IDM), Martin Gerzabek (Rector of the University of Agricultural Sciences) and others.
