News archive - Building a hall for the Business Incubator BIOS Ltd. in Croatia

Mayor Kresimir Bubalo, European Union Commissioner for Regional Development Johannes Hahn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development Funds and the European Union, Branko Grcic, President Vladimir Sisljagic and BIOS director Ivo Koški laid the foundation stone for the new modular plant of the Osijek Business Incubator BIOS on June 28, 2012.

The new hall will cost 1.4 million euros, and the EU co-finances the construction with 1 million under IPA Component IIc - Regional Competitiveness. The balance will be financed by the City of Osijek and BIOS. The capacity of the BIOS in this project will increase by 24 offices.
 
The building will use a small solar elektraneikolektora on the roof provide much of the electricity, heating and water heating. The project aims to increase the capacity of the incubator for the admission of new manufacturing and technology-oriented companies, with the aim of developing small and medium enterprises, and reducing unemployment.
