LIFE + Programme for the Environment

"Launched in 1992, LIFE (The Financial Instrument for the Environment) is one of the spearheads of Community environment policy.
LIFE cofinances environmental initiatives in the European Union and certain third countries bordering on the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea, and in those EU candidate countries that have decided to participate."
LIFE III (2000-2004) and the extension (2005-2006) are succeeded by a new instrument, LIFE+.
The programme is open to participation from Western Balkan countries.

Western Balkans Info Hub - powered by "Policy Answers" - is funded by the European Commission through the Horizon Europe project "R&I policy making, implementation and support in the Western Balkans", grant agreement: 10105887.
