The policy on research and innovation in Montenegro and STP infrastructure - Overview

A presentation on the development of the R&I ecosystem in Montenegro was given at the "Unveiling Serbia's Smart Specialisation Strategy and exploring the role of incubators, accelerators and S&T Parks in delivering sector specific support in the Western Balkans and South East Europe" Conference organised in June 2019 in Belgrade.

The presentation focuses on the development of R&D capacities including the  adopted Strategy for development of start-ups, as well as on the international cooperation. The new innovative entrepreneurial center "TEHNOPOLIS“in Nikšić is also introduced while several details are given about the plans for 2020 to both ensure more attractive environment for innovation, to continue supporting international cooperation and mobility, and eventually to continue supporting science/industry cooperation.
