Policy interview with Carlos Moedas published on Horizon Europe
Horizon, the EU Research and Innovation Magazine published on behalf of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, published an Interview with Carlos Moedas. The interview focused on how the next framework programme Horizon Europe will also better connect the public to European science.
Carlos Moedas spoke to Horizon magazine to coincide with the launch of the Horizon Europe proposals on 7 June. The Commissioner explains how the next European science and research funding programme is designed to connect people with the achievements financed by their tax money, and to fix problems with innovation funding. The plans for Horizon Europe contain a lot of continuity with Horizon 2020 but also some new elements such as the establishment of a European Innovation Council to promote innovation and the introduction of mission-oriented research.
