On Tuesday 7 November, a consortium meeting will be held, bringing together project partners, EC representatives and members of the European Advisory Board, to discuss and exchange ideas on the current state of the project and future direction.

On Wednesday 8 November, there will be a WIDERA Info Day for NCPs. The agenda for the meeting covers both topics: WIDENING and ERA. The WIDENING section includes a proposal evaluation process and results for the Teaming for Excellence and European Excellence Initiative, as well as proposal submission results for Twining, Pathways to Synergies, Dissemination and Exploitation Facility. There will also be a recap on the forthcoming calls, and a presentation on lump sum funding. The ERA section includes a presentation of the ERA calls, including a related policy overview, presentation of proposal submission, evaluation process and results, as well as REA practical considerations.

The final day, Thursday 9 November, will feature an ERA 2024 Knowledge Day and Brokerage Event. The event is designed to bring together ERA clients, stakeholders, and NCPs who are looking for project partners and/or consortia. The event will include presentations on ERA calls, providing valuable insights and networking opportunities for participants.

NCP_WIDERA.NET cordially invites interested people to the ERA Knowledge Day and Brokerage Event on 9 November 2023 at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Brussels. Participants will have the opportunity to present their project ideas and expertise to potential partners, and also have a great ERA networking opportunity. In the first part of the programme, representatives from the European Commission will present the new 2024 ERA calls and topics from the WIDERA work programme 2023-2024. In addition, an expert from the European Research Executive Agency will explain the project proposal evaluation process. Toward the end of the plenary session, an ERA project coordinator will provide advice and suggestions on proposal writing. The second part will focus on matchmaking, the aim of which is to identify possible collaborations and simplify the creation of Horizon Europe ERA project consortia.
