Scientific-professional conference "Gender equality at universities"
We invite you to attend the scientific-professional conference "Gender Equality at Universities: Theoretical Perspectives, Institutional Action and Social Engagement", which will be opened on Thursday (May 26) at 9.00 am in Amphitheater 216 (Faculty of Philosophy).
During two days, participants from the region present scientific research, published papers, projects within the framework of the work of non-governmental organizations. The conference is organized by the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Faculty of Philosophy. In addition to promoting community science and cooperation between universities and civil society, this event aims to educate academic, administrative staff and students.
You can join on Thursday, May 26, at the following thematic sessions:
Feminist theories;
Forgotten Heritage: Women Through History;
Gender-based violence.
On Friday, May 27, from 9.30 am, the topics we are dealing with are:
We read feminist books;
Gender policies and universities;
Knowledge and work - gender perspective;
Gender, religion and demography.
The co-organizer of the conference is the Transcultural Psychosocial Educational (TPO) Foundation from Sarajevo, and within the project Introduction of Gender Awareness Policies in Higher Education (University and Gender Mainstreaming - UNIGEM). The conference is supported by the Advisory Board for Gender Equality at the University of Banja Luka.
