EU Science & Policy Matchmaking Event
The European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) and Directorate-General for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC) are organizing a pilot science and policy matchmaking event to bring together researchers and potential policy-related host institutions.
The event will focus on the opportunities under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) for linking researchers and policymakers, since MSCA is one of the key programs fostering intersectoral, international, and interdisciplinary research cooperation.
The pilot virtual session will specifically discuss MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF). The next MSCA-PF call is opening in May 2022 (closing mid-September 2022) and the event aims at bring together researchers applying for PF, who are looking for placement hosts, and policymakers interested in hosting researchers as part of their science-policy work.
The event will be held on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022, on Microsoft Teams from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM CEST, the time zone difference with North America is noteable but the event is being shared for those with strong interest in attending or following any follow-up information. Early-bird registration deadline: May 6th, 2022.
Final registration deadline: May 25th, 2022 (confirmation on May 27th).
