Industry 4.0 and digital transformation in the Balkans
Epoka University together with Universita’ del Salento and Cardiff Metropolitan University are organizing a workshop to create a discussion forum with academics and researchers to debate on fundamental opportunities and challenges that the fourth Industrial Revolution is bringing for firms, organizations and governments, for developed and developing countries.
Today we are living in a data driven economy that opens up enormous opportunities for knowledge spillovers, for entering into new markets enabled by digital platforms, for exploiting new and innovative production possibilities enabled by digital technologies. Therefore, debating on how to create value, innovate and be competitive in this new digital economy is paramount.
Additionally, the panelists will present a Call for paper, for a special issue, related to the theme “Industrial 4.0 and digital transformation in the Balkans and the future trends”. During the workshop participants will have the opportunity to join the panel of discussion.
