The initiative "Facilitating Research & Innovation Cooperation in the Danube Region" will start on 28 October with a Horizon Europe "Widening" information day.
Description
This event (and the possibility for long-term virtual matchmaking) is organised by the "Priority Area 7" (of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) focused on the development of the "Knowledge Society" required by the Danube region researchers and initiated by the results of last years survey on "Participation of the Danube Region Countries in Horizon 2020" and its further "Recommendations for Increasing Participation in the EU Framework Programme for R&I HORIZON EUROPE".
The analysis on the participation of researchers from the Danube Region in Horizon 2020 will be presented at the Info day. The Info day will be accompanied by the possibility of continuous (long-term) virtual matchmakings (B2B) meetings.
The virtual matchmaking will focus (in a first phase) on the three upcoming Widening calls:

Organisations/Researchers from "Non-Widening" countries are also encouraged to participate in this event and for the accompanying long-term virtual matchmaking to jointly form more project partnerships (within the Horizon Europe Widening programme) with the Danube Region countries.
This platform offers the possibility for Horizon Europe Widening NCPs to do a quality check of the uploaded profiles from their respective country. You have to classify yourself as a Horizon Europe Widening NCP when registering and can then become a "Supporting Organizer" for your country if you are interested.
