ECONOMIC FORUM ON REGIONAL COOPERATION
The Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania, the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia jointly invite to the Economic Forum on Regional Cooperation in the Western Balkans, which will be held at the Alexander Palace Hotel in Skopje, on Thursday, July 29, 2021, starting at 9:00 hours.
The Skopje Economic Forum on Regional Cooperation is organized within the framework of the Four Freedoms Initiative (colloquially known as “Little Schengen”), launched by the leaders of Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia in October 2019.
The primary goal of the initiative is to make existing regional initiatives more effective in order to achieve practical and visible results for the Western Balkans citizens. The initiative leads to the establishment of a Common Regional Market, which, as a transitional form, should bring the region closer to the European Union and accelerate the path to full membership.
The Forum will be attended by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, who will present the political and economic vision of the integrated region.
B2B meetings of companies from the six Western Balkans economies will take place within the Economic Forum, at the Alexander Palace Hotel, starting at 12:30 PM.
