Back in December 2020, the Institute for Sociological, Political and Juridical Research - Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (ISPJR-UKIM), the Faculty of Philosophy - University of Belgrade, and the Faculty of Social Sciences - University of Tirana, organized the international scientific conference “Political Clientelism in the Western Balkans”.
Description
The event featured a total of 20 paper presentations by 29 authors and co-authors. Following the conference, a Collection of Papers was prepared which includes 12 papers on political clientelism in the Western Balkan region. This Collection will be promoted during the event, and, additionally, there will be a discussion on the state of clientelism studies in the region, with participation of Čarna Brković (University of Goettingen), Slobodan Cvejić (University of Belgrade) and Jovan Bliznakovski (Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje). Following the discussion, a Q&A session will be held with participation of the speakers and the authors featured in the Collection of Papers “Political Clientelism in the Western Balkans”.
