INSPIRE 2020 Online Conference “Bringing sustainability and digitalisation together"
Because of the risk associated with COVID-19 infection and to ensure the health care of all the community, we have reluctantly decided to cancel the INSPIRE Conference 2020 and to host INSPIRE 2021 in Dubrovnik, 11-14th May 2021.
We are sorry that we cannot present the exciting programme we had put together for the 2020 conference but we will issue a new call for abstracts for the 2021 conference soon!

However, all is not lost!
In the meantime, we invited the organisers of special sessions and workshops to host their events in special online series of webinars and we are pleased to announce that a large number took up our invitation!

In 2020 INSPIRE will hold its annual conference focusing on
- sustainable digitalisation (digital transition) and
- digital sustainability (social, economic and environment)
Each year a European INSPIRE conference is held to provides a forum for stakeholders from government, academia and industry to hear about and discuss the latest developments of the INSPIRE Directive.
This conference provides an excellent opportunity to present Europe's INSPIRE Directive to the community and hear about the developments in National SDIs. The conferences are organised through a series of plenary sessions addressing common policy issues, and parallel sessions and workshops focusing in particular on applications and implementations of SDIs, research issues and new and evolving technologies and applications.
