Workshop: Smart Specialisation and SDGs
The main aim of the event is to present practical experience and advances in applying Smart Specialisation as an STI Roadmap for SDGs in a number of countries and subnational territories. This includes EU Member States, regions and cities that are already implementing smart specialisation strategies targeted towards SDGs and the non-EU countries that chose to follow the S3 methodology).
There will be a discussion how the Handbook on SDG Voluntary Local Reviews for cities (to be released at the World Urban Forum in February) can support the development on STI Roadmaps at local level.
This workshop will be the first one organized by the S3 Platform, where the aim is to move from conceptual development to practical application.
