Where innovators meet and shape our 'Digital Future'

EFECS, currently in its third year, is a unique conference, bringing together representatives from across the Electronic Components & Systems (ECS) community, whilst providing an exclusive opportunity to engage with the leaders and enablers of Europe’s Digital Economy, to discover the latest technology trends, help shape the future of technology, network within the ECS Community and acquire information on support available to make this happen.

Following the success of the two previous years, and with a very high participation level, this year the conference follows the EU presidency in Finland, with high-level representatives from Member States, industry and academia. The theme, 'Our Digital Future', will picture how ECS technologies contribute to our future economy and society and in particular the connection to key application areas such as health, agriculture and energy. In addition, the event will highlight the current IPCEI on microelectronics (Important Project of Common European Interest) with a dedicated keynote and exhibition booth covering the five different technology areas of Energy efficient chips, Power semiconductors, Smart sensors, Advanced optical equipment and Compound materials.

EFECS contains high-level presentations, interactive workshops, Pre-Brokerage activities and the exhibition itself for new project ideas and project dissemination. So if you want to hear about the future of ECS, if you are planning a visit to meet your peers or for the creation of new collaborative RD&I projects, EFECS is the place to be.

The European Commission co-organises the conference with the industry associations AENEAS, ARTEMIS-IA and EPoSS, the ECSEL Joint Undertaking, EUREKA as associate member and support from Business Finland.
