"Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On 24-26 May, The 1st AGES/SEG/EAGE Congress & Technical Exhibition GEOSCIENCES APPLIED TO SOLVE HUMANITARIAN PROBLEMS ALL OVER THE WORLD is held in Hotel Crowne Plaza, Belgrade (Serbia).

The Congress has several objectives. One is to wrap up the AGES/SEG humanitarian project Geoscientists without Borders: Assessment of flood damaged infrastructures in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia, and to contribute to broader humanitarian/environmental application including future action. The second objective is to share knowledge and experience that geoscientists encountered when investigating similar problems or more generally problems related to the near surface where various issues occur.  Therefore, the event is directed to Geoscientific investigations of the impact of the near surface changes onto infrastructure and related humanitarian issues all over the world.

You are cordially invited to take active participation in the Congress as:

-      Presenter/lecturer (topics are provided in the 1st Announcement),

-      Exhibitor or sponsor

-      Exibitor presenter (a special session is organised for the presentation of software and hardware products and services).

Previously printed challenging and novel abstracts are welcome. Deadline is postponed to 30th April.

The 1st Announcement of the Congress is attached, and all details necessary to potential sponsors and/or exhibitors will be available at AGES official web-site (in the next few days) or by sending message to: komsne@yahoo.com.

Please also find attached the 1st Announcement of the Congress which is organized parallely - VII International Congress BIOMEDICINE AND GEOSCIENCES – INFLUENCE OF ENVIRONMENT ON HUMAN HEALTH, where all colleagues are also welcome to participate. For those participating in the both events, special offer for registration fee is available - single fee covers participation in both events.
