The third Western Balkans Suummit will be held on July 4th in Paris.

Description

France will host the third Summit of the Western Balkans countries, where 13 countries will be invited: the six Western Balkans countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, FYR of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) and the five countries that attended the meeting in Vienna in 2015 (Germany, Austria, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia).

The Paris SUmmit has the objective of launching two new initiatives for the region:

  • the development of infrastructures in the field of transport and energy;
  • an initiative for youth, to ease youth mobility in the region and in the European Union with the aim of increasing its employability

It will be also the occasion to launch the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO), created by the six Western Balkans countries after the Summit in Vienna in 2015.
