EU Research & Innovation Proposal Development 2014-2020
EU Research & Innovation Proposal Development 2014-2020
Join Europa Media’s EU R&I Proposal Development 2014-2020 training course and gain hands-on knowledge on how to submit competitive project proposals under the new EU research and innovation programmes, in particular under Horizon
This 2-day course will get you prepared for the 2014-2020 EU funding period by providing you with an overview of the 2014-2020 funding programmes and a deep insight into Horizon 2020.
1. Lecturers are experienced Project Managers and Coordinators
This course is built on our direct experience gained over the past 15 years from developing and submitting proposals and implementing projects under the EU Programmes, in particular, FP5, FP6, FP7, CIP, LIFE/LIFE+ and LLP. The lecturers and workshop leaders are flesh-and-bone project managers and coordinators, whose day-to-day work is to turn innovative project concepts into competitive proposals.
Europa Media has been actively following the developments and updates on the new programmes of the EU 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework and our current and past EC projects give us an insight into the future expectations of the European Commission.
2. Lectures and Workshops on proposal development and evaluation
Experience Europa Media's famous "learning-by-doing" approach – hear presentations introducing the rules of the game with examples, then practice your newly-gained knowledge during the workshops specifically designed for the particular topics:
Proposal Development
Develop a project concept in response to a work programme topic (“call”). After going through a simple exercise, you will be encouraged to pursue a new way of thinking - a method to ensure that you get started in the right way. You will then further develop your proposal concept by designing a work plan with work packages, a Gantt chart and PERT diagram, creating an ideal consortium and a realistic budget.
Evaluation of Proposals
Become an evaluator and see if you will give the same scores as the evaluators gave our proposals in real life. Try to find a compromise during the consensus meetings with your other fellow evaluators. Understand how the evaluators think, what they consider – it will help you put together better proposals.
Your benefits
