This special event for the researchers and other actors in the field of transport in the Danube Region is designed as an opportunity to hear different views on research and to contribute to the implementation of the Danube Strategy and to prepare for an active approach towards HORIZON2020.

Description

The idea is to stimulate discussion beyond the narow borders of different instruments and policies. Effective and efficient transport needs synergies of different policies. The conference is going to bring together researchers and interested stakeholders in order to join forces for more efficient transport in the Danube region.

The following sessions are planned:

  • welcome speeches and introduction,
  • round table,
  • info day and brokarage event,
  • sustainable mobility in urban areas is planned to be a key topic in the afternoon of second day. 

The possibility for the participants to raise particularly important and specific issues will be made available. In addition the conference is a good opportunity to discuss research and innovation in the transport with many prominent researchers and to enlarge network.

Participation is free of charge however registration is mandatory.
