Congress Biomedicine and Geosciences – Influence of Environment on Human Health
The 4th International Congress Biomedicine and Geosciences – Influence of Environment on Human Health will be held on 28-30 April 2014 in the Vojvodina hotel in Zrenjanin (Serbia). The Congress is organized by the Association of Geophysicists and Environmentalists of Serbia (AGES) – the Serbian ENeRG country representative - in cooperation with leading medical institutions from Serbia.
The goal of the Congress is to treat the problem of human health protection from the viewpoint of Biomedicine and Geosciences, because they can contribute to better understanding of environment/human health relations. The aim of the organizers is to point out that only such approach is adequate for finding solutions and further development in the domains of biomedicine, bioinformatics, bioenergy, radiology, microbiology, environmental protection, environmental geophysics, medical geology, etc.
Invited speakers and authors will present their contributions within the following topics:
- ENVIRONMENT AND HUMAN HEALTH;
- WATER – NATURAL WEALTH & HEALTH;
- MEDICAL GEOLOGY;
- ENVIRONMENTAL GEOPHYSICS;
- RADON EXPOSURE AND HEALTH EFFECTS;
- RADON AND THORON IN AIR;
- SOIL AND WATER – GEOLOGICAL BACKGROUND;
- MODERN APPROACH TO HEALTH IN THE 21st CENTURY.
A students` workshop will be organized as integral part of the Congress, as well as a Technical Exhibition.
