Reforming the Study Programs and Curricula (HE in Albania)

This is a case study written by Prof. Dr. Marenglen Spiro, the Rector of the University of Tirana. The author first presents trends and challenges facing the Higher Education System in Albania. The state of curricula in view of the provisions of the Bologna Declaration is also presented (changes in curricula and their development, implementation etc). He also describes the University of Tirana and its institutional quality culture, recognition of qualifications.
