EU-Macedonia R&TD cooperation
This is a power point presentation held by dr. Zoran T. Popovski, State Secretary of the Ministry for Education and Science (2005). The author gives a short review of the S&T sector in FYR of Macedonia. Then he presents the legal framework and focuses on financial aspect of S&T in Macedonia (budget contribution in R&D). He also names several difficulties in this field.
Furthermore, he describes the European Research Area Project, the Framework Programmes, and conclusion from meetings connected to the relation between the Western Balkans and the ERA (in Vienna, Brussels, Sofia, Thessaloniki, Brussel). Last but not the least expectations from RTD cooperation are presented.
