Poverty Reducation Strategy Paper for Serbia (PRSP)

This is a strategy paper conducted by the International Monetary Fund in 2004. It describes the country's macroeconomic, structural, and social policies in support of growth and poverty reduction, as well as associated external financing needs and major sources of financing. It is stated that a successful implementation of the Poverty Reduction Strategy will mean a reduction of poverty in the Union of Serbia and Montenegro to around 7 percent by 2010 with an average annual growth of around 4–4,5 percent and the same level of average inequality in society. The paper also presents many statistical data.
