ECAS EU Funding Guide 2009

Every year ECAS produces a guide on how to access funding from the EU Institutions and alternative sources such as Foundations. ECAS is a large cross-sectoral European association whose mission is to enable NGOs and individuals to make their voice heard by providing advice on how to lobby and fundraise.

This year’s fundraising climate is dominated by the economic recession, which is not favourable to the development of activities of associations even if the needs they serve are increasing. EU funding will remain constant and will represent a safe haven for associations. The Financial Perspectives 2007-2013 represent a regular funding stream. EU funding provides concrete advantages compared with funds which are more exposed to market fluctuations and the financial crisis.

This year ECAS goes further and launches a Help-Desk on EU Fundraising which can be reached by phone or e-mail. We will answer questions and our staff will remain at your disposal to find solutions to your fundraising queries and needs. With over 18 years experience in Brussels, our multilingual team is well equipped to assist you in gaining access to European funding.
