[Presentation at SP Feb. 2023] Supporting conference interpreter training in the Western Balkans
Manuela Brovarone, Deputy Head of Unit ‘Talent Development (SCIC)’ of the European Commission, DG Interpretation talked about the need for professional interpreters within the Western Balkans area to support the enlargement process and presented possible support opportunities offered by DG Interpretation for example for universities to launch university and post-graduate training courses. She introduced the European Master's in Conference Interpreting training programme as well.
The presentation was made in the frame of the Meeting of the Western Balkans Steering Platforms on Education and Training & Research and Innovation held in Skopje on 15-16 February 2023.
