New WBIF Publication: Investing in Clean Energy in the Western Balkans
The Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) has released the fourth edition of the publication “Investing in Clean Energy in the Western Balkans”. Prepared with the support of the Energy Community Secretariat, it now covers energy efficiency and renewable energy, making it a truly clean energy publication.
The publication features a review of the regulatory framework and cooperation mechanisms, a review of existing financing facilities and statistical data on 2007-2018 achievements. This edition also discusses renewables and energy transition in the region and financing public and private sector energy efficiency investment.
The printed version was released at the seventeenth Energy Community Ministerial Council in Chisinau on 13 December 2019.
