The Regional Cooperation Council  presented the 5th, 2019 edition of its public and businesses viewpoints survey – Balkan Barometer (BB) at the Annual meeting of the organisation that is taking place on 8 July 2019 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.  SEEDS is the RCC’s web-based platform showing how the region of South East Europe, and its individual economies, is faring in achieving the SEE 2020 Strategy targets and objectives. It consists of: SEE 2020 Progress Tracker, Balkan Opinion Barometer, and Balkan Business Barometer.

Balkan Barometer is an annual survey of public opinion and business sentiments in six Western Balkans economies, commissioned by the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC), which examines aspirations and expectations on life and work, prevalent socio-economic and political trends & regional and European integration. 2019, or 5th edition of the Barometer features some of the defining thoughts of citizens and businesses on prevailing issues facing our region. All Balkan Barometer-related contents can be found at https://www.rcc.int/seeds/

Croatia, originally part of the group of economies that developed the SEE 2020 framework has since joined the EU and no longer participates in the SEE 2020 monitoring process. In line with that, Balkan Barometer 2018 and 2019 was not conducted in Croatia.
