Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report on global warming
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) launched its report on global warming on October 8th, 2018.
The report is clearly stating urgency to limit global warming up to 1,5°C instead of 2°C. This would require "rapid and far-reaching" transitions in land, energy, industry, buildings, transport and cities. Global net human-caused emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) would need to fall by about 45 percent from 2010 levels by 2030, reaching 'net zero' around 2050. We would need to see more transition from fossil-based society towards bio-based society.
