Western Balkan Labor Market Trends 2018 - report with WB country flyers

The report and the flyers present a short description of recent trends and feature key labor market indicators based on the harmonized data prepared in the context of the SEE Jobs Gateway.

In 2017 the World Bank and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw) launched the first-ever database to provide easily-accessible regional labour market data for the Western Balkans. The database allows to calculate aggregate labour market indicators across the six Western Balkan countries and to directly compare the six Western Balkan countries with each other and with select EU comparator countries. The database is available through the SEE Jobs Gateway.

A new report entitled is now online: Western Balkans Labour Market Trends 2018

The report relies on labour force survey data provided by statistical offices of the Western Balkan countries for the integrated regional database, and by Eurostat for the EU comparator countries.

Together with the report also the following country flyers were prepared. They present a short description of recent trends and feature key labor market indicators based on the harmonized data prepared in the context of the SEE Jobs Gateway.

The report and SEE Jobs Gateway are co-financed by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and the World Bank. Please follow the SEE Jobs Gateway link for other publications.
