New brochure of the European IPR Helpdesk on brokerage events
Several organisations across Europe and in particular the Enterprise Europe Network organise brokerage events. These events are an easy, cheap and quick way for SMEs to meet with potential business partners. Generally, participation requires companies to publicly show their technologies profiles in the event’s website or at the venue. Regardless of the format of such events, there are some risks associated with intellectual property (IP) that all participants should be aware of.
