Toward education– research–education triangle Where are we starting from?
This publication is the result of the first-year activities on the Project. It is an overview of the present situation related to education-research-innovation triangle in institutions and countries being partner in the Tempus Project Opening University towards Society: Linking Education-Research-Innovation (OPUS).
The document addresses:
1) The role of doctoral education in boosting research and innovation/technology transfer at the University of Vienna
2) The role of technology transfer system within Saarland University (correlation and cooperation)
3) The present status of the education-research-innovation activities related to knowledge transfer and academic entrepreneurship: towards a better
understanding
4) Reflection from the university perspective as well as analysis of individual partners
5) A swot analysis on the level of individual partner and on the level of common issues
