[Call for Participation] Open Science Workshop at GSI-FAIR: An Opportunity for Western Balkans Researchers to Attend
The Open Science Workshop at GSI/FAIR warmly welcomes researchers from the Western Balkans to participate in this event. The workshop is scheduled to be held on the 19 and 20 October 2023, spanning two days and taking place in the afternoons from 13:00 to 17:00.
This Workshop offers a hybrid format, allowing participants to choose between in-person attendance at the GSI facility or remote participation through Zoom. Participants who opt for remote participation will receive specific Zoom session details next week to ensure smooth access to the virtual platform.

The workshop will foster an open and informal environment conducive to discussions on various Open Science Themes. Topics will encompass Open Access publications, Research Data Management, Open-Source Software, Open licensing and transfer, as well as GSI/FAIR's involvement in external Open Science Projects.
For researchers from the Western Balkans, this workshop provides an outstanding opportunity to actively engage with open science practices and collaborate with fellow experts, facilitating the exchange of valuable knowledge and experiences.
