[Call for Applications] Call for new advisory EBRD CSO Steering Committee
The EBRD is currently revising its approach for civil society engagement. Under the new approach, the Bank aims to establish an advisory Civil Society Steering Committee to enhance its civil society engagement.
The Committee will act as an additional forum for dialogue and communication between the Bank and civil societies and help the Bank to enhance its civil society engagement. Through this committee, EBRD hopes to foster a spirit of cooperation, trust, and mutual respect among civil societies and the EBRD, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences.
All entities seeking to apply to participate in the CSO Steering Committee must meet the following criteria:
- The aims and purposes of the applicant entity should be consistent with the EBRD and conform with EBRD’s policies;
- The entity should be considered a non-governmental organisation in line with the definition set by the EBRD;
- Geographical representation of the EBRD region
- CSO Steering Committee members will have good connectivity and communication tools such as internet and a working e-mail account.
- In addition to the online application, interested organisations must provide 2 reference letters. The letters should be 1 page long each, written in English. Please submit your reference letters to: cso@ebrd.com
Applications will be open until the 15th of September 2023. All relevant information is available under the EBRD CSO Steering Committee webpage too.
