Within the framework of the BOOST project, a public invitation was opened for all interested representatives of the academic community and research centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina to provide services to small and medium-sized enterprises.
Connecting the knowledge and skills of representatives of the academic community and research centers with the needs of local companies is one of the key factors of economic development. Recognizing the importance of cooperation, INTERA Technology Park implements the BOOST project, which is supported by the project "Innovation and digitalization of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina/EU4DigitalSME", co-financed by the European Union and the Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ.
Cooperation between the academic community and the business sector within the aforementioned project will be supported through the Innovation Voucher Scheme, a program designed to connect representatives of both sectors for the benefit of improving the level of innovation and product quality of small and medium-sized enterprises in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The public call is open to all faculties, universities and research centers that can provide any of the services from the requested categories: technological innovation services, legal services and intellectual property, digital transformation services, development and internationalization services. One month after the opening of the Public Call, the received applications will be evaluated and a catalog of services and service providers will be created that will be an integral part of the Public Call for small and medium-sized enterprises that will be able to apply to use the presented services within their innovative projects. The scheme of innovation vouchers is implemented through one-time financial support for the provided service in the maximum amount of EUR 5,000.00 (equivalent in BAM) and with mandatory co-financing of 10%, which will be provided by small and medium-sized enterprises with which the service providers cooperate.
