What needs to be done to promote digital skills early on and at all stages of education and training?

Have your say and join the EU Commission "Call for Evidence and new recommendations on digital education and skills!"

Digital skills – improving their provision

Well before the COVID-19 crisis, there was clear evidence of the need to develop everyone’s digital skills.

Digital skills levels remain low, with the digital divide persisting with regard to gender, socio-economic background and urban/rural areas. The COVID-19 crisis further increased demand for these skills.

This initiative aims to set out what needs to be done to promote digital skills early on and at all stages of education and training.
