Survey: Share your mobility experience in Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe
Are you an international researcher, lecturer or PhD student working in Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe? Take part in a new survey and share your experience.
The landscape of higher education across Europe is changing as universities are becoming more international. In fact, the integration of internationalisation in all aspects of higher education institutions is considered an important key to success.
In this context, the UniWelIS project, funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme, has launched a new survey to collect evidence and data on mobility experiences and support needs in the region of Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
Coordinated by the Slovak Academic Information Agency, UniWelIS brings together the Academic Cooperation Association, the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, the University of Nis, Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski and Comenius University in Bratislava.
The results of this study will prepare the design of practical tools supporting the successful integration of international academics in these countries. They will be beneficial for future mobile academics and will help improve academic staff mobility opportunities and services in the region of Central-Eastern and South-Eastern Europe.
What are Welcome services?
Aimed to make teaching and research more international, welcome services and development of professional capacities are at the core of the UniWelIS project. Its overall goal is to create practical tools for the attention of CESE universities, so they enhance their welcoming capacities of academics and PhD students coming from all over the world.
In the long-term, these tools are expected to benefit future mobile academics and contribute to the improvement of academic staff mobility opportunities and services in the CESE region.
