Short description

RYCO (Regional Youth Cooperation Office) is looking for project proposals that will change the Western Balkans. The overall financial envelope for this call is 330.000€ which is available to civil society organisations from across the region.

The overall objective of the fourth RYCO Open Call for Project Proposals is to support the civil society in the Western Balkans to foster reconciliation and regional youth cooperation during and post COVID-19 crisis. The call aims to contribute to increasing the capacities of CSOs that can implement regional youth-related projects and offer opportunities for young people. These opportunities should provide youth with new spaces for dialogue, mutual learning, and increased understanding across communities and RYCO’s Contracting Parties.

RYCO is aware that it is crucial to maintain youth cooperation and reconciliation momentum even in times of crisis. Therefore, interested CSOs are invited to think of innovative projects that offer solutions in a rapidly changing world.

RYCO is established upon the belief that young people are real change makers and when provided with an opportunity to learn, grow, and voice their ideas, their social and economic prospects are enhanced, and the whole community benefits over the long term. RYCO’s fourth Open Call is designed to provide decisive support to CSOs that can contribute to this vision, whether they wish to engage in such activities for the first time or require assistance to expand their already existing work.

This Call is supported by the European Union, and will be open until 12 October 2020.
