Webinar training on Clean Energy Package in a nutshell and implications for the Energy Community
Time: 14:00 In 2019, the EU completed a comprehensive update of its energy policy framework to facilitate the transition away from fossil fuels towards cleaner energy and to deliver on the EU’s Paris Agreement commitments for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The agreement on this new energy rulebook – called the Clean energy for all Europeans package - marked a significant step towards the implementation of the energy union strategy. The webinar will shed light on the new rules, which will bring considerable benefits from a consumer, environmental perspective economic perspectives. For the Energy Community Contracting Parties the Clean Energy Package together with the 2030 GHG emission reduction, energy efficiency and renewable energy targets will be tabled for adoption by the European Commission in 2021. |
The webinar will begin with a 30-minute presentation by the expert, followed by a Q&A session. Questions received throughout the presentation will be read out load and answered by the presenter after the presentation has finished.
During the webinar, participants will have their microphone and video disabled. Please note that the Q&A function is strictly reserved for content-related questions to the presenter. For all other questions and comments, please use the chat function.
