CEB Award for Social Cohesion
In line with its mandate, the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is launching an annual competition to acknowledge and reward remarkable contributions to social cohesion, including also Western Balkan countries which are all members of the CEB.
The CEB Award for Social Cohesion will award a €25,000 prize and trophy to a project that addresses pressing social issues and makes a significant contribution to social cohesion in an innovative and effective way.
Individuals who are at least 18 years old or organisations from CEB member countries are eligible for nomination. The beneficiaries and impact of the initiative or project must also be in a CEB member country. The project may be an advanced project idea or be in the early stages of implementation, but it must impact beneficiaries in a CEB member country. The overarching theme of ‘social cohesion’ will be assessed on impact, sustainability and innovation/replicability.
Principles and guidelines can be found in the attachment.
