Call for proposals for ESOF2020 Trieste Science in the City Festival
The Science in the City Festival is an important feature of every EuroScience Open Forum dedicated to people of all ages who are curious about science and technology. It is one of the largest public engagement in science and technology events in Europe, taking place from 27th June until 11th July 2020.
Whilst the call for the ESOF2020 congress programme has been successfully completed, the call to participate in the Science in the City Festival, the big communication event for the general public that will invade the city of Trieste, remains open until 31st December 2019.
To take part in the Festival programme it is possible to propose exhibitions, scientific-themed shows, interactive workshops, science cafés, conferences and participatory events, guided tours, and other original and innovative formats with the purpose of bringing together science, technology, art, and society.
Proposals must self-finance costs for travel and setup, whilst location, communication and other technical services are covered by the Festival.
You can already submit your proposals to join this celebration of science, technology, art and society by completing the procedure through on the proESOF2020 website.
The Festival will host international performers and will be multilingual, engaging tens of thousands of participants coming from all over the world.
