Short description
ACA and European University Foundation (EUF) are conducting a mapping survey on the training needs of higher education institutions (HEIs) staff in the area of social inclusion, with the view to supporting and enhancing diversity management competences across European HEIs.
Who should fill out this survey?

This survey primarily targets HEI administrative and academic staff members in contact with students of different backgrounds - not only international exchange or degree-seeking students, but also domestic or international students from underrepresented groups (migrant background, students with disabilities, lower socio-economic background, etc.).

Depending on the degree of diversity in the institution, the target respondents could include:
  • senior management staff overseeing the formulation and implementation internationalisation strategies,
  • staff members of international offices,
  • staff members in charge of international marketing, recruitment, admissions on central or faculty/department levels,
  • disability/equal opportunities/diversity/inclusion officers, i.e. any staff members providing support services to students of diverse backgrounds,
  • teaching/coaching staff,
  • and other colleagues at your institution with similar responsibilities.
We kindly ask you to support this joint endeavour and respond to the survey or forward it to the respective colleague(s). The survey can be accessed here.

The submission deadline is Friday, 22 November 2019.

Your participation and contribution to the mapping exercise

This survey will take 10-20 minutes, depending on the level of detail you decide to provide in your answers.  In return to the time you spent, we will share the results with you at the end, if you would provide us your contact details. You will also have a chance to win a fee waiver to attend one of ACA's European Policy Seminars, if you would provide us your contact details.

A lucky draw from among all the respondents who completed the survey will be conducted at the end of the survey. A total of 4 winners will receive fee waivers to attend one of the ACA's reputed European Policy Seminars in 2020.
