The Centre for Social Innovation - ZSI (Vienna) looks for Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellows
ZSI invites potential applicants for the MSCA European Individual Fellowship call 2018
ZSI welcomes potential applicants to the MSCA - Individual Fellowship call 2018 (European Fellowships) and launches a specific support initiative to match potential applicants with the priority fields of ZSI.
The aim of this initiative is to attract and train young talented researchers to successfully apply for MSCA European Individual Fellowships with ZSI as host institution.
Candidates will be pre-selected based on their expression of interest (2 pages including proposed research title, list of research questions, short summary of background and state-of-art of research, short information on the proposed methodology), CV and a list of publications as well as a motivation letter. Promising candidates will be invited for 3 days to ZSI mid of July to meet their prospective supervisors, to define with them the proposal framework, to visit the ZSI facilities, and to attend an in depth training course on proposal writing. ZSI will cover the travel (economy class) and accommodation as well as subsistence costs of the selected candidates.
Selected candidate fellows and supervisors will be guided throughout the whole application process with deadline on 12 September 2018. Those who receive funding from the EC's MSCA IF programme will be admitted to ZSI.
Application deadline: 31 May 2018.
Eliqibility requirements:
- Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent research experience of at least four years' full time research experience by the time of the call deadline of 12 September 2018)
- Applicants can be of any nationality but must not have lived or worked in Austria for more than 12 months during the three years up to the closing date of the call (mobility rule)
- Applicants have to choose ZSI as their host institutions
- The proposals of the applicants have to be positioned in the key performance and research areas of ZSI (please consult the thematic profiles of the three ZSI units "work and equal opportunities", "technology and knowledge" or "research policy and societal development").
